this is a typical restaurant they would expect to find in a harbour resort. good seafood and fish selection (we had a plate) and fair value. no problem with it, or the service, but nothing to write home. would eat here again if this is the kind of food we tied.
I don't want to be mean or selective. the waiting staff was very friendly and helpful. the restaurant had very good sitting places in the open and the atmosphere was good. the food was not. it was mediocre it seems that they don't really cook there, but cooks without much workout. the presentation as well as the aromen and quality of the foods lacked. it could be very easy to fix if the owners are ready to do the work. in our 2 times we have tried Japanese, Indian and Nepalese foods. they could also consider sticking and mastering with a kind of food.
Wir sind aufgrund der zahlreichen guten Bewertungen gekommen. Leider war das Essen für Madeira sehr mäßig, die Portionen übermäßig groß. Wir haben sehr lange auf das Essen gewartet. Die Bedienung ist ausgesprochen nett und freundlich. Ansonsten es gibt viel bessere Restaurants hier in der Umgebung.(

Com pouco tempo para dispender, mas com uma equipa que merece ser bem tratada, reservámos e fomos muito bem recebidos e atendidos.O Picado é bom, a sala agradável e, houvesse tempo, a vista também é de apreciar!
we stayed at our stay in madeira and served several evenings in the hotel restaurant. the large plus is the beautiful outside terrace with views of the sea. the restaurant offers a complete vegetarian/veganes menu with a mix of different kitchens. eating is not exceptional (some dishes are a bit dirty), but it is well prepared with fresh vegetables from the garden. we tried several pasta dishes, Indian dhal and curry, zucchini fritte and gnocchi. the suppers are also very good.
