We tried multiple places one night (all closed) when we checked into the pestana on the hill. Had we gotten there just a bit earlier, we could have enjoyed the great view of the sunset. There is a big outside patio, but it was very windy. We got a couple bottles of wine (this was the only place in our 10 day trip where the standard ceremony of wine was not followed, and then we had to refill our own glasses), the couvert (great compound butters!), and a really large plate of smoked sausages, and some cheese honey toasts. It is walking distance from the castle, and it kind of feels like Vegas with the decor, lights and music. There are NOT a lot of options in this town but this is a good bet.
