Good restaurant to have lunch or dinner with typical Portuguese cuisine. Local specialty is Nacos/Vitela à Lafões, translated is calf/veal grilled on coal. If properly prepared the meat should be tender and delicious, and comes served with red bean rice as well as fried potatoes all generous servings. You can only eat this dish in this region of Portugal and meat served in this restaurant is produced locally. I also recommend roasted veal with potatoes, also a very hearty dish generously served so pay attention to the number of portions you order. Generally one portion is enough for two adults. Nevertheless I consider this an average restaurant, service could be improved with more attention towards the customer and presentation of the food.
