The location is wonderful. The staff very knowledgeable and prompt. Very clean every where. Good quality food but not a lot of choice. This is low season so I will return later in the summer. Need to book.
good eating and excellent service, unfortunately we were the only people there for the first hour and then another couple came so that the lack of atmosphere was quite disappointing
the service is of extreme attention and quality. we chose a starter with mushrooms and wonderful river fishing. the court was oktopusreis in many, also very good! the lookout is also wonderful!
We very much enjoyed our evening and dinner at Varanda do Casal, what a setting and what a place! We know the restaurants in the area reasonably well and this is a cut above anywhere else locally. Excellent food, excellent service and a very sleek and sophisticated restaurant overall. We will be back. Thank you.
absolutely incredible. the location is in a quiet village and it is simply perfect. we had two meals to share as family of 4. the lamb and the wild boar, served with beautifully balanced traditional sides. both were delicious, the best I had eaten in portugal so far. I would recommend visiting here if they were good quality authentic dishes. my 5 and 7 year old youngs said that their best eating always
amazing experience. super recommend this place for lunch / dinner after visiting coimbra. the best eating experience we had in portugal so far. the owners are very friendly and friendly. I recommend pairing the delicious local dishes with the wine. 10 stars.
on a scale of 1 10 gets the varanda 12 for everything. You don't have to believe me, you just have to experience it for yourself. we live locally and are frequent diners. we always have a first-class experience, no exceptions. make their reservation early.
