Normally I prefer eating inside to avoid insects and smokers, but this very stylish and relaxed outdoor restaurant had plenty (possibly all) non smoking tables, and the slight sea breeze kept the insects at bay. Good, simple, modern food impeccably cooked and professionally served by friendly staff would be enough to visit this place, but add in the view, and it is not to be missed. It is not cheap, but is good value for the standards and the location.

The location of this restaurant/bar is outstanding, perched on the cliff between the Cliff Bay and Reids Hotel.It is luxury, albeit not well advertised and I know friends who walked passed it without noticing it.We did not eat albeit had a number of drinks there.The service and ambience was great and I would say it is the best place we have had a drink at in Funchal.We will return next year.

A bit pricey yet worth it when you sit outside and enjoy the views. Good food

After we discovered the restaurant on a walk in funchal, we have booked a table for dinner and the entire experience exceeded expectations. the menu offers beautiful fresh ingredients, beautifully prepared with a modern whirlpool. the look and the aromas are wonderful. beetroot hummus .yummyscallops sit on risotto the freshest of filled fish and al dente vegetables madeira rosé from the north of the islandphew. we were happy....and we recommend.

perfect in any view eating service and landscape

the food was excellent and the service was fantastic. best quality ingredients, simple, but well cooked. can't blame it. great food and service in beautiful environment.

another excellent visit. we decide to visit another outside seat for everyone to find a whole series of views and outside. tables beautifully spaced fir private sphere, but maintaining atmosphere. the menu looks limited until they look at the combinations and excellent help and explanations of the helpful and attentive waiters.
