This upstart restaurant has the best smell. Everything is cooked with wood fire. While this could be just a gimmick, it give the food a feeling of earthiness.The staff really wanted us to do the tasting menu. But we were not that hungry and we thought that the courses on the tasting menu lean too heavily on seafood.Instead we ordered the Wild Duck Breast and the Roasted Goat Carbonara. Both were done really well. The Wild Duck Breast was served with charred romaine lettuce hearts with béarnaise sauce and wild mushrooms. All were fantastic. But I am not sure that the duck was from the wild. It tasted more like a farm raised duck. (Which was okay by us We choose to add a side dish of Potato Terrine with Truffle Sauce. OMG! It was really delicious. The wine pairings were top notch.For dessert we ordered the Grilled Carrot Cake with Smoked Yogurt and Pistachios. It was to die for.

The most delicious meal I had in Portugal in this trip. Had this booked in for months from a recommendation from a friend. We were not disappointed. Elemento is a well oiled machine. Having a set menu made all the difference. We ate meals that we'd never order and god it made a difference. All meals complemented each other and the wine was amazing. All the staff are friendly, casual and accommodating service. Cannot gush enough about this place and the experience it gives. Congrats all the team

we booked this restaurant during our Porto city trip. we loved it. great eating, very friendly service, warm atmosphere. pity that we do not live there.
Happy to recommend this place. Hard to find fault with anything. Interesting and delicious food, and the friendliest service from all staff members.
