very nice service, unfortunately were wine glasses and cute dirty. eating was ok. ambiente and location is really good, but I would not recommend this place because there is much more on better standard
charming and tasty restaurant with excellent food and wonderful and helpful waiter. all seafood were great, but the calves were excellent.
The restaurant is very nice, a small cave-like restaurant on the Douro’s waterfront. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they make you feel really at home. The food was oké however there were things that should improve. The first is the speed at which the food is served, within the first after our arrival both the entree and main course were served. This doesn’t really give you a relaxed feeling after a day of exploring Porto. It also makes you wonder how freshly cooked the food is, it certainly wasn’t cooked ‘a la minute’. Secondly the main course was still a bit cold, strange for cod with clams in a soup-like sauce. When we informed the waitress she took away our plates and within a couple of minutes our plates which were hotter returned, the food was definitely prepared in advance. This shouldn’t be an issue but, as said above, doesn’t add to a nice experience.
The food was really tasty and very well presented. The restaurant is small and intimate and they are very friendly. Definitely recommended for seafood lovers
We arrived really late for the booking and the restaurant was really accommodating. The person us gave us excellent recommendations, the food was excellent .we had oysters, amazing, cod with broad beans, black pasta with crab, and the dessert was to die for.. Definitely a place to visit!

Very friendly, with excellent service and wonderful food. This is a very charming place on the banks of then river making ue of an old thick walled building.
