We liked so much this restaurant, we initially thought to give it the maximum rating; but then we remembered we had spent a little less for a similar place in Lisbon (Churrascaria la Paz), while Sacavem is a small town, whose main attraction is probably that of not being far from Lisbon. First, the service: the man only spoke Portuguese, which we do not understand; but in spite of this, we communicated very well. He was incredibly friendly, attentive to our needs, amusing at times; especially at the beginning, when we were almost the only customers, but still…we’ve never met a person like him, in any of the many restaurants we’ve visited in Portugal. Then the food: I had a preparation of bacalhau (codfish), made in the form of a cake with cheese etc; very good; my wife had a perfectly grilled grouper; then fresh cherries, a quarter of excellent house wine. Total: 21 Euro

This is a simple unpretentious place with fantastic food and a lovely cook. She walked us through the menu and gave us advice on what to eat. We had fantastic grilled to perfection fish with a simple salad and vegetables.All the meats are on display by the door to show their freshness and over all this seems like a place of the locals.Highly recommended for those who love good simple food at a fair price

Les plats sont copieux et bon. Le personnel est très sympathique. Nous avons eu un très bon accueil avec un serveur parlant très bien le français. Nous étions 7 dont 2 enfants pour 4 aperitifs, 3 boissons, 6 plats, 4 desserts et une bouteille de vin pour une addition à 73€. Et on nous a offert le Porto en digestif.
