great ambiente with the cooking owner who interacts with the customers. small menu, but nicely prepared and presented eating. large portions are brought to home so that we had space for a desert. free tasting and glass of the harbour. the personal is very professional and entertaining. great eating and good value.

my favorite place during my time in braganca. the chef is very personal and also coworkers. recommended a handcrafted beer made with olive to go. simply projecting. tell me, dickie from Texas has sent you! support the local economy portugals since 2016
my best eating experience in 7 weeks portugal, and the best weedic acid I've ever had. please stop them and enjoy them. the location, intimacy, service, and of course the amazing cooking food.
we ate here at the beginning of December, at a cold night. the restaurant was cozy, a wonderful ambiente. I am coeliac not a problem, with home cooked rice crispy presented on our amuse book. our Charcuterie board had delicate aged meats, our most important courses of wild boar stew for him and pork-loin for me were sturdy, but with a careful hand. the lemon coffee mousse was clever and cesty, coffee beans. we have finished with roasted chestnuts and harbour wine, the entire experience was a gastronomic joy and a joy at the heart. Thank you!
We found this lovely little gem of a restaurant by chance on the first day of a 2 night stop over. The talented chef produces some fabulous dishes based on regional food. The front of house team are attentive and very professional, with great attention to covid 19 security. We enjoyed our meals on the first visit and made a reservation for the next evening. Be warned, you must book, it is very popular.

Beautiful restaurant in the grounds of Braganca castle. Quirky decor, friendly staff. Chef Luis popped out to make sure everyone was happy.
We first visited last year, before the Michelin Bib was awarded. There have been changes, perhaps not for the better, but this remains a fun restaurant to visit and a pleasant evening may still be had. A warm reception and friendly service guaranteed, as is a celebration of regional foods and personal attention from the chef/proprietor. Still great value for money. We visited twice this week and had both the meat and seafood versions of the Chef's Menu at 30€ and 40€ respectively. The seafood was the more enjoyable and felt like the best value. Would be better without the large TV screen and the football.
