great food (beautiful huhn kebab), good service and ambiente. very good price/performance. the second time here and we'll be back whenever we get here.

we ended here after visiting the palacios. it is a corner, but has a sign of the main road. not a large place, but any quantity of choice on the menu for everyone. many vegetarian and vegan options also. friendly waitress who hardly spoke. English but.
this little place is a street near mafra we found it by chance. we were the only tourist at the place (always a good sign), and eating was very good. the Portuguese steak was cooked in the same way. you find the whole country, but it was particularly delicate and tasty, I think the addition of garlic gave him a nice taste. I highly recommend it.
this place offers vegetarian cuisine. not my exact choice: meat menus with something (industrial soy products) instead of meat. we were looking for a table in a crowded night in mafra, and that was available. but if you're looking for a place to have a few bites. (brot, olive, cheese, wine), it's pretty okay.
if you want fried egg, rice, fries, salad and garlic chicken or a beef paillard with fries and egg this might be your spot. Francesinhas looked nice but I wouldn't order again. It is decent food a little different from what you eat...most days in Portugal. Friendly service. Total price for p.
I really enjoyed the meat flavour (we ordered a mixed pork/chicken kebab). There are few tables, so it doesn't get noisy as others places nearby.
Nice francesinhas namely one made with tuna instead of meat and kebabs. Has vegetarian versions of all.
This place is located righ in front of the Mafra Convent, a known tourist site. Went there to eat Francesinha, a typical northern dish, with a group of The food was not brilliant, the waiting time was fairly high and we ended up paying...almost per person (too high a price for the quality offered). The staff wasn't friendy either. I'd not return for sure.
