Levaram-nos amigos portugueses... disseram que são os melhores lenços da área e têm razão! Eles eram muito bons a um bom preço... Não ponho cinco estrelas porque os empregados que estavam um pouco secos. ...

Great little street diner which we found whilst waiting to visit one of the nearby Port Lodges. Really traditional, basic, food served up by the owner and his family. Grilled sardines with a dear little half bottle of house red, followed by dessert and good coffee. The owner and his wife constantly rushed between tables providing very efficient service. Excellent value and well worth a visit if you are on this side of the river.

Is this the last really traditional eatery in the riverside of Gaia? surrounded by tourist places, is this the last redoute? The small snacks are absolutely perfect so I can only enthusiastically recommend this place. In particular the bolinhos de bacalhau and the octopus. Very affordable!

Super food and service. Small street food establishment very basic and very very good value for money. We all had various fish dishes. Tasted fresh with handmade fries. Plenty of local wine and great coffee. Rated five as it was simply lovely authentic and basic. Exceeded expectations. Staff fun too.

This was a great little find serving simple authentic Portuguese food. We visited at lunch and the place was full of locals on lunch hour, which of course is a good sign Food was fresh with good flavour and we had no complaints. If we visit Porto again we would definitely return

If there are plenty of locals sitting at tables this is a big yes for me set to the side of the market but with a view along the front this little restaurant is unassuming! Fabulous fresh seafood, practically from the boat local wine for €1 a glass no brainer really! Octopus and cod croquettes to start with deliciously fresh! Then fresh fish for mains I had grilled sea bream and my friend the roasted sardines! With coffee at the end and finishing at €28 it was a steal! Definitely worth trying!!
