Delicious food and very friendly management and waitstaff. Very fresh fish cooked to perfection. So very hospitable. Highly recommend.
Um jantar maravilhoso... peixe fresco simples, servido com elegância... ah, e não se esqueça de experimentar a sopa de peixe. Deixe espaço para a sobremesa.. especialidades portuguesas caseiras. Experimente o Molotov .. um bolo de merengue macio com calda de caramelo! Aparentemente é fácil de fazer!! Feito para se sentir bem-vindo e uma refeição deliciosa.
A hidden gem on the small streets in Nazare. Family owned restaurant focusing in local fresh products. Excellent food and service. Great value. Definitely recommend during a Nazare visit
We have gone to Casa Bizarro which the lady in charge made us feel very welcome and relaxed. Menu was provided to us in a few different languages and as entrada/starter we were given dried sardines delicious) , bread and nice olives. I ordered the sargo or Golden fish as they were calling that in English , Joanna had the sea bass and her mother selected the sole , all to be washed down by vino verde Marvehlos, a nice sweet tasting green wine. All dishes were served with salad and potatoes. The sole was served on the bone while the sea bass and Golden fish/sargo were butterflyed and opened flat on the plate. All fish dishes were tasty , moist and melting on the mouth .
We actually went there because my wife loved the name, glad we did, its a very local, friendly run place that was a great laugh, as the next table all the Portuguese were properly going for it. The head BBQ'er, was so funny, he had the gift of the gab and was a total comedian. He cooked the food perfectly. Great experience, one we will remember for years to come, excellent
Tried a new restaurant. The 2 steaks arrived 20 minutes before the fish. Fish ok but small portions. Not bad but not great
We arrived at 2pm during the height of the lunch hour and was impressed with their attentiveness and execution. The seafood could not have been any fresher and we enjoyed seeing our skewers cooked on a charcoal grill and they were delicious. Our son ordered the seafood stew which he devoured once he picked-out the crabmeat (which our waitress demonstrated the technique. Would definitely visit again if I'm ever back in Nazare!
