I heard it was excellent. However I cannot say as I drove all the way there kms) cause it's apparently only opened Wednesday to Sunday and unfortunately it was closed. I should have called to reserve but was told it wouldn't be necessary to call on a Wednesday as it wouldn't be busy and google said it was open, so I just went there. I will try again but call before going

joão d’Azur eça lima is a wonderful cook, everything was on the point, the friendly staff, including the cook and the delicious menu with fresh food makes this restaurant a mandatory stop. magnífico!

This restaurant is like an oasis in the middle of the majestic Lousã Mt. My tour guide called ahead to make sure they were open and brought us here for a lunch that I will never forget. Perfectly cooked deer so tender my heart still aches when I think about it. It was served with chestnuts that were simply incredible. The duck fat butter earned its place in my arteries. It is so delicious that I could easily eat it on its own. I spoke with the owner and chef, João, who is not only supremely talented, but an absolute beautiful soul. I can't wait to eat here again. I hope to see you there!
