excellent friendly staff who were very attentive, although they were full with a big party on another table. eating is great and the wee was nice for just a house white. liked the atmosphere as it is quite small and traditional. did not make the best photos of eating, as it looked so good, I ate everything before I remember grabbing a shot

excellent attention, service and eating. we tasted some tapas and vinho da casa, it was all very delicious and fresh. also the place is beautiful, traditional and comfortable. highly recommended!
amazing eating, good prices, friendly and welcoming staff. one of these treasures found in portimão.
the place does not accommodate many people, so it feels quite intimate. we ordered the clam pasta and a portion grilled bark tapas. the tapas was amazing, let us try more items from the menu (but we couldn't eat too much) the pasta was also good: they could taste the wine, nice portion (not too big or too small) and the pasta itself was aldente. but all very well.
Food was great the service made us feel at home.
We saw this wonderful little restaurant as we started to wander around Portimao and my wife wanted to go on the strength of the menu, so after exploring for a few hours more we re traced our steps and went inside to this lovely small restaurant, quite late on during lunch service. Very glad we did the food was superb, the sparkling wine was excellent, and the owner/chef was very helpful with explaining where the dishes came from whilst cooking and maintaining the restaurant. The only other people in were Portuguese, which we took to be a good sign. As we left, very satisfied, three people in a UK registered car pulled up and asked us if we liked the restaurant, as they said they'd often thought about going there but hadn't yet, and we had no hesitation in recommending that they should definitely go in...what an excellent restaurant!

Absolutely amazing food! As I described it to my friend, eating the rabbit stew was like having a warm cuddle with your mum. Such delicious and comforting dish. The razor clams rice had a hint of heat and was just what I needed after a late night. We barely had room for dessert but we still managed to share one and that again was another round of honest and memorable food. Muito obrigada!
