small family-run restaurant near the river douro in the historical (still kinda tourist) section of porto. this place is so not a tourist trap. friendly, helpful staff. it was too cold to sit outside, but would like to have done it on a warmer day. start with a glass of local wine with delicious garlic flat bread and olive. we had both the so fresh linguado (sole) with accompanying fresh vegetables and a beautiful green salad. service was timely and friendly. very good price and pleasant. tables which are correspondingly spaced apart for COVID purposes.

The best garlic pawn and seafood in town. I hunt the best seafood in the city and only this place fulfilled my expectations. Love to visit as much as possible in the coming days.
One of the few restaurants in Ribeira. A perfect place to still enjoy the river view, but stay a bit further from the crowd. Delicious food, I love garlic shrimps. Nice desserts. And very friendly staff. Very recommended.
I have the mussels for the starter and the mussel rice for the main course and both dishes were excellent! The shells are tasteful and the sauce is really good with the bread they have served, but my heart goes to the bowling rice. It is full of aromas, filled with shrimps, mussels and tastes so delicious. I recommend this restaurant!
Wow. We found ourselves unexpectedly in this hip, tasty restaurant that had a beautiful view of Vila Nova di Gaia. What is special in this place: 1 place. It is water side, but unlike the other tourist traps restaurants on Main Street of Ribeira, this is easily from the busy foot traffic, located in a Plaza/Piazza on the water. You can eat outside without a mob of people at your table. 2 The fresh fish of the day will be displayed in one case at the entrance. Once it's gone, it's gone. So you can be sure that you literally get the catch of the day. 3 Service our server, whose English was possibly limited, was extremely friendly, attentive and eager to please. And above all, the food was very delicious, although it was simply prepared. I highly recommend the grilled shrimp entree, the garlic shrimp appetizer, Clam appetizer, salted cod with potatoes and green entree and try the white port tonic cocktail.
It was delicious, staff were super super great even cracked some jokes. We had the lobster rice which they helped us peel from a cooked lobster (they showed us the lobster alive beforehand so definitely fresh) and shrimp pasta. Great quality. Not crowded when we went around 4pm.
