Cafe da Se

Excellent coffee, cakes, snacks and fresh squeezed orange juice. Ideal place to stop and watch the tourists trudge up the hill. Friendly service and very clean loos. A must stop for a break location, just by the cathedral.

The location is nice and the ambiente ok but the guy running the place is rude and unpleasant. Yelling at people (not us) and ruining what could be a nice afternoon. He s seemingly not a local which may explain the temper.

While walking around Silves, we happened upon this café. The lunch choices were inviting. The tables do sit at an angle just like it was mentioned in another review, but that made this café have more of a local feel. Our lunch was delicious. I was here with my husband and daughter. Of course, we had to have some Portugal wine. I would recommend you stop at this café when in Silves.

Na een flinke klauterpartij de heuvel van Silves op, lust je wel iets kouds te drinken in de schaduw. Dit café heeft een aantrekkelijk terras. De prijzen gaan helemaal nergens over.

I always eat here when in Silves. The chicken baguette is amazing and so cheap. There is so much on offer that its hard to leave but the quality is excellent and the prices are amazingly low!. Don't walk past your regret it!.

Nella cornice dei vicoli di Silves, proprio sotto la cattedrale(da qui il nome), un piccolo bar con tanto di tavolini.A parte il pessimo cappuccino, il resto dei prodotti assaggiati ha un'ottima qualità(pastel de nata e torta di mandorle). Lascia sconcertata la rudezza del proprietario. Chiedendo gli ingredienti delle torte risponde che lui non vuole sentire domande stupide nel suo locale. Allora addio.
