Excellant, food, service. Waiter speaks Eng. large portions, salad very good. Limited menu, commercial desserts commercial, not much taste but do a very good furit salad. Parking, outside area, childrens area (play). Take away, all popular with Portugese. Open Tues_Sun, lunch and dinner. Unless you are a very big eater, orer the half dose, maybe for 2? Does freah orange juice, Algarvian.

We pass this restaurant and can never get in , but found it quite quiet for once and stopped for lunch. Sat outside in a lovely garden. Service was quick and friendly. The meal came quickly as we didnt opt for the cover of bread , olives etc. Varied choice but chicken and chips seemed so popular. It didnt disappoint. Cooked to perfection with a slight hint of chilli. We ordered a side salad, 2 small carafs of wine, water, desserts and 2 coffees and the bill was 35 euros. I can,t praise this restaurant enough. It is full of Portugese and lots of people collecting take aways whilst we were there. Highly recommended.

Next to Galp garage on Messines Road. Take away, parking. Popular with Portuguese but waiter speaks good Eng. Childrens area. Clean. Small memu (grill) but excellant food, lovely salad and BIG helpings. Unless you are very hungrey, one dose (portion) between two is suffient. Good salad. V cheap

We discovered this restaurant for takeaway earlier this year, it was during the Covid 19 shutdown. It's the nearest restaurant to our house. The food was freshly cooked, hot and the salad is fantastic. It was all placed in containers and is good value for money We decided to visit when the restaurants were allowed to open. This place is spotless, all tables and chairs are disinfected between customers. The food is fresh, hot and delicious. It's the best Piri Piri chicken I've tasted. The service is spot on and the owner tells jokes too. There's a great play area for children too, we'll be taking our grandchildren for a visit. Might let their parents come too. It's a really clean family restaurant and I'd definitely highly recommend a visit.

It's a good sign when the restaurant fills early and mostly with Portuguese families. The piri chicken has a wonderful garlic and chilli flavour and you cannot beat the salad. A very hospitable restaurant with great service.

We called in for lunch on a Tuesday in September selecting the piri piri chicken and the febras de porco with a salad to share and a bottle of house wine. Rather than just putting the usual bread, butter, olives etc on the table they actually ask whether you want any of it so you only pay for what you ask for. Both dishes were excellent with lots of flavour and juices and the salad was beautifully seasoned. The 7 euro bottle of house white wine was good value. The only criticism is that the half chicken was the smallest I've seen and must have been straight out of the shell!
