I was looking for a place where I could have an early dinner and saw O Cais on Google maps. The restaurant had just opened for the night, lucky me. So many beautiful choices and I finally decided on the steak Angus with mushroom gravy and thick fries. First bite, yummy, tender and delicious. I’m a piripiri lady ... I put it on everything but decided not to do it this time. I just wanted to let the beef do its magic. I must say that I thought the steak was small and I would have to order something else. I was mistaken. I didn’t ask for dessert or coffee anymore. Worth another dinner .... or several ... when I’m in the area.

beautiful place with great cozy dining! we went early to avoid the crowds with our small child and were greeted with thoughtful service and delicious food. we loved the venison, which was perfectly cooked and paired with the pfefferkorn sauce. oh no
Food was beautifully presented and first class for taste and quality. Family run with a personal service and we would highly recommend a visit.
This stunning little place along the river in Silves, Algarve. I have only praise for the food, the presentation and the kindness of the staff. One of the best steaks I've eaten for a long time. Well presented food served by friendly and competent staff.
We had fish n chips there Friday night. Very tasty good size portions. We will be going back to try other dishes on their menu. Very tastefully decorated, lovely table settings. Good service . Well worth a visit.
5/5 for food and service. This restaurant certainly knows quality ingredients and serves quality food. We could not fault a thing. My partner had goats cheese, main of Argentinian sirloin steak and apple pie. I had lightly curried king prawns followed by surf and turf and a delicious chocolate nutty dessert. We have not tasted food this fresh, flavoursome and excellent quality for a long time. The owner and staff were attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the food and warm am so much we are going back tomorrow!
Good service and great food. At the moment it is still relatively quiet in Silves so don’t walk by this restaurant. Even if it is not busy you will be served with a smile and great food. We had the satay for starters and curry, risotto for main course and I could not resist the ice cream for desert. We will back for sure.
