Cafetaria Lounge Chapim

Located in a park by the river with no traffic anywhere near, this is a very nice spot for a coffee or a drink. We went for both. A coffee is only Euro, a half-litre of beer and a good-sized glass of very nice Alentejo red was reasonably priced Euros a glass. It is a popular place, so service can be a bit slow, particularly when some people are ordering snacks. Our coffee order got forgotten. If it looks busy, I recommend going in to order and, certainly to pay. The latter seems to be the accepted norm. We were willing to put up with the service issues for the location. It is also very convenient for Churrasqueira Valdema

Great location. Sorry to report that this year our visit was disappointing. Although not busy we waited minutes to get served, another before our drinks arrived,another for toasties. The toasties aren't as packed as they were before, especially the chicken, though bread good. Wine is nice but expensive for the portion poured. Staff are pleasant, Christiana special. Bernando is missed as is Marcia. Expensive when compared to other places in Silves, service needs to improve.

Chose your time wisely! If it looks busy, come back later, because the food is worth it. If the place looks quiet, settle down and enjoy the tostadas, the soup or the salads, all really great and filling. Staff speaks English and Portuguese and are very nice.

when you visit the algarve in portugal, you have to go with another and innovative decoration to artaska in silves and try the Artaska menu. fantastic. !!! I strongly recommend! friendly staff. amazing!

Good selection of really good food. Friendly staff and a perfect spot for lunch.
