Thought we might be able to have the set menu but not available evenings.Were brought bread, olives and ham which we hadn't ordered so sent back the ham olives Ordered soup which was nice, then fish for Mick and veal escalopes for me. Fish wasn't filleted. We were given stale bread wrapped in clingfilm then realised that Portuguese people received nice fresh rolls! Seem to be biased against tourists so wouldn't visit again.

Fantastic seafood and service. Wonderful atmosphere, many locals enjoying the outstanding dishes: just perfect. Worth also a longer trip, not only from Portimao.
Sadly not as good as it used to be.
we just ate with the rota do petisco. the seafood bean stew must be on the best redas. the complete menu reads well, eating out the kitchen really came out. specializes in fish and mush. will be back one night.

We had the cockles and Clams deliciously cooked and perfectly juicy. Melting in your mouth eaten until the last drop with the typical bread from the region. Dont forget to visit when you are in Silves for lunch!
Absolutely amazing! A must if you like typical Poruguese cuisine! Waitresses super friendly and efficient! Super great and fresh food! Reasonable prices if you order from the meal of the day menu! Lots of locals frequent this restaurant. Always a good sign. Super clean bathrooms and restaurant. Good vibe all round.
