on a recent trip to portugal my wife and I stayed at the palacio estoril and asked for a good place to eat. we were told by luzmar and decided to try. we were not disappointed. we started with olives and shrimp and then ordered a filet mignon with a steinkrab. the krab was huge and perfectly boiled, as the filet mignon together with kartoffeln the meal itself was fantastic. we ate all this for under US dollars, which would cost us much more in the united states. while we talked to a man who had eaten. Although I spoke Spanish and Portuguese, we could have a wonderful talk about our two countries. he found out he had lost his wife a few months ago and he invited us to sit and drink with him. he told us he believed that his wife sent me and my wife in the night to share in good talk and society. we told him that the next day we would go to fatima and pray for him and his wife. wonderful to meet such good people from portugal and they welcome foreigners in their country. everything in all luzmar is a restaurant where I would recommend the people to eat. If I ever come back to portugal, that's a place where I look back in every case.

had recommended a delicious local dish from the waitress
the staff were all very helpful and friendly, they also personalized for me my teller and offered me a beautiful white rose at the end of dinner. I had a nice soup and a grilled half dorada that were excellent. the only thing I don't enjoy was that dessert that was too sweet for me (but I guess it's just my taste). the restaurant was neat and very clean, not “tourist” at all. I'm coming back!
great food and service. not many people eating did not help with the environment.
Great food and nice typical environment. Very good cata plana. Only negative point was the ham and crab paste brought to the table at the start which was 30€ in addition to the cover charge and not explained. But food , wine and service was top level
