This was an incredible evening. We were left in peace to look at the menu outside, the light was turned on to ease reading. We chose our food. I had the skewer deal. for skewer of meat, side salad, chips and maize, house wine and coffee. Fantastic value ! My husband had grilled scabbard fish with herbs and vegetables and potatoes. The food exceeded expectations. We even had a dessert, the chocolate cake and ice cream. Wow ! The atmosphere was easy. The staff were excellent. This is a TOP restaurant. We will be back ! Thank you to you all.
After reading reviews on here, we decided to try this restaurant for dinner. The interior is very well set out and decorated and is complemented by the good friendly service and home cooking' style food. The own made cheesecake was certainly amongst the best and I would definitely have it again. The vino tinto de casa came in a carafe and was country style'. An affordable and unpretentious meal.
Vero good food and for good price
I chose this restaurant for our party of due to positive TA reviews, and we were all happy with our experience. We were seated promptly and were served by a very friendly waiter, who was happy to help us with our wine selection. This place is unpretentious and the food was superb! Their garlic bread was to die for. Then I had the best cannelloni in my life house made pasta that was so light and delicate, stuffed with perfectly cooked spinach and ricotta and just enough tomato sauce. One of us had the skewered beef, one had the fish (I forget which type) with a banana and mango sauce, and another had the lamb. Sorry, I can't talk about what the others had as they sat at another table. Everything the food, the ambience, the service was excellent, and I would highly recommend it.
The best restaurant we have visited in Madeira. Very good and fast service. Food is great. Highly recommended. Prices are completely affordable, considering the fact that m up has overpriced places with lower ratings.
The steak was more than done well and unchewable. The shrimps are not fresh. Service unfriendly.
The food is horrible please don't go in their it is not good at all.
