Restaurante a Sardinha

this seemed the place to go in peniche we asked for sardines and were told that they were frozen, so we ordered the psychic. they showed us the fresh fish and gave us the price that we agreed to yes that they would be cheese and broth. and octopus salad on the table for which we knew that we were calculated, but it was all nice, so no problems there. (although they did not tell them the cost when they put it on the table, it added another 12 euro the fish was cooked nicely. a smile would have been nice! we asked a guy who was dessert that he said that he didn't know it was never disturbed to go and help us decide the restaurant was busy and most of them ran around like headless chicken, walked past our table and ignored our empty teller the bill was on a several tablet was just let down on the table when we left

excellent seafood. sopa y pasta! this is the nabe of peniche, where the natives meet on a Saturday sunny afternoon, fucked in a small side street. beautiful dynamic atmosphere!

we visited this restaurant on Monday evening most restaurants were closed in the local environment, but this restaurant was absolutely packed out of very good ground, eating was highly recommended the seafood! Lachs-snell was cooked well, my man had a psychic. that was just as good! good service reasonable. worth a visit.

Been looking forward to visiting this restaurant , quickly seated to an outside table.Restaurant soon became full , people wanted a table sit or stand opposite the restaurant waiting to be called by the owner , watching the people eating outside and avoiding getting hit...by cars who drive on the narrow road! Ordered 2 meals , my meal came out after a short wait I decided to make a start as it was only luke warm , asked twice where the other meal was, its coming , finished mine and finally 2nd meal arrived , plates and drinks pasted to use over or by the table next to us , very poor service , avoid this place on weekends and holidays ....

Avoid the “Tourist Menu” we had the tourist menu. They didn’t serve the bread, which was included. The fish soup didn’t include fish, only noodles. The Swordfish was a bit overdone, however the adjacent vegetables were nice. The desert was supposed to be chocolate ice...cream, but they just served a cup of ice from the cooler. like the ones you buy at the supermarket) At the end we had a espresso, which was good and strong. Price 12,5 Euro/ pers. including a glass of house wine. Last week when we were there we had a Fish Stew, which was nice. We had the wine of the month. Approximately price 22 Euro/ pers

Finding locals seated in a restaurant is usually a good sign if you want to try an authentic local cuisine and this was the case indeed. We enjoyed a well prepared Sunday meal seated at the terrace of Sardinha, at the center of Peniche. Both...fish- and meat-based dishes were quite tasty. It is worth stopping by for its fresh food for sure but be aware that the staff doesn't speak English and expect a basic service.

We had the fish Cataplana, recommended to us by the waiter. It was very good and a complete dish, we were really satisfied. Also the wine, chosen by the waiter for us, was very good and had great quality price.
