Pizzaria Xarambinha Expresso

It was very busy, butter mins we were able to get a table outside. Food, service and drinks were perfect and we had a fun evening, one Dad and his two daughters. Thank you.

This is a casual place close to the old Fort in Zona Velha. Outdoor tables plus an upstairs area overlooking the street. Specialises in pizza and pasta. Pizzas are generously topped and portions are generous. Pizza, pasta dish, litre of sangria and two cappuccinos totaled less than euros so very good value for money.

This is apperently the only restaurant/pizzeria in Funchal that offers you beef or fish on a hot stone, allowing you to prepare your meal just the way you want it. Employees are super friendly and always ready to assist tourists. The location is quite historic, so be sure to check out the beautiful scenery.

GREAT! If you just want a good, value for money meal, come here. No pressure from salesmen outside. Lovely food and great atmosphere.

This was one of the many restaurants I visited whilst on holiday in Madeira and it was one of my favourites! Even though they specialise on pizza, I chose the pasta which was equally as delicious. You have to book beforehand because it is a very popular restaurant, however the service is still very fast and the staff are friendly too.

Beautiful setting and very pleasant and helpful staff, the steak on the stone here is by far the best I’ve had here in Madeira.

My steak on a stone was very good wife's ravioli was not so good. Service was great atmosphere was good also just next to a square with a small church in it. Average prices.
