I loved the atmosphere and the food. but I ate the otopus that needed some spicy and lemon to digest because there was a lot of oil.
excellent eating, locally and directly in the center. If you want cheap prices, I would suggest going to lunch and they will be given the menu of the day. the prices range from 8 euro to 10 for main dishes in the midday menu.
in the inner it is so beautiful! the service joão is soo professional friendly. that is eating.
Highly recommend trying their octopus: I have eaten octopus before in some places of worldwide renown such as Octopus curry in the Seychelles, San Sebastián and the Azores. What I can tell for sure is that their octopus is second to none
Great food (a bit limited selection if you are not into seafood however) and beautiful place overall.

In 4 years of visiting Funchal we've been here 3 times. Every time has been brilliant. Fantastic wine and fillet steak and pepper sauce to die for. Such a traditional setting inside which we prefer. Love it
